Kontour Beauty is adding a Hilo location—and my Puna home studio is here to stay.
There’s a new chapter beginning for Kontour Beauty, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.
I’m adding a Hilo location inside Lotus Beauty Salon, with appointments beginning Wednesday, October 21, 2026!
But before I get into the details, there’s something I want my Puna community to know: my Puna home studio will continue serving you. This is an additional location—not a move away from Puna.
Whether you love having your appointments close to home or would find it easier to see me in Hilo, you’ll now have another option for making time for yourself.
Two locations. The same Kristina. And the same care behind every appointment.
A little more convenience for your self-care
Sometimes, the hardest part of booking an appointment isn’t deciding what you’d like to have done. It’s figuring out how to fit it into your week.
Between work, school pickups, family responsibilities, and everything else on your list, location matters. For some of you, staying in Puna makes the most sense. For others, an appointment in Hilo might fit more naturally around your workday or the errands you’re already running in town.
Adding this location gives you a choice.
You won’t need to switch to Hilo to continue seeing me, and you don’t need to be a new client to explore appointments there. The goal is to give both my existing clients and new faces another way to experience Kontour Beauty.
Because making time for yourself should work with your life—not become one more complicated thing to figure out.
Puna, your home studio isn’t going anywhere
To my Puna clients: I’ll still be here for you.
My home studio will continue to offer a personal, one-on-one setting for your appointments. If you enjoy having a beauty space in your own community without needing to make the drive into Hilo, that option is staying.
I know the familiar parts of an appointment can matter just as much as the service itself: knowing who you’re seeing, feeling comfortable asking questions, and being able to settle into a space where you don’t have to explain yourself all over again.
That connection is something I value, too.
Your support has helped make this next step possible. Every appointment, referral, shared post, and encouraging message has meant something to the person behind this business.
Growing Kontour Beauty also means continuing to care for the community that has supported it along the way.

If you’ve been curious about booking with me but a trip to Puna hasn’t worked with your schedule, this is another opportunity for us to meet. And if you’re already a client who spends more of your week in Hilo, you’ll have a second location to consider.

Hilo location: Inside Lotus Beauty Salon
First appointments: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
Hilo hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Visits: By appointment only
When booking, take a moment to check which location you’re selecting. Your confirmation should match the studio you plan to visit, so you can arrive knowing exactly where you’re headed.
A different location doesn’t mean a different person behind your care
Kontour Beauty is still my solo beauty business. Whether your appointment is at my Puna home studio or my Hilo location, you’ll be booking with me, Kristina.
As a licensed esthetician and nail technician, I care about more than the finished result. I also care about how you feel during your visit, whether your questions are answered, and whether you leave understanding how to care for your service at home.
You don’t need to know every beauty term or arrive with everything figured out. Tell me what you’re hoping for, what you like, and anything you’re unsure about. We can talk through it together.
And whether you feel like catching up or would rather enjoy a quieter appointment, you’re welcome to let me know.
The spaces will be different, but the intention stays the same: personal attention, thoughtful service, and a welcoming place to do something for yourself.

My Puna home studio remains an option for clients who prefer to stay closer to the Puna community and enjoy a home-studio setting.
My Hilo location inside Lotus Beauty Salon adds an option for clients who live, work, or regularly spend time in Hilo.
As you plan your next visit, choose your preferred location and review the available services and appointment times before confirming.
You can keep the routine you already love or explore the new location when it makes sense for your schedule.
